Virgin America WIFI

May 1st, 2009 · No Comments · Food, Travel

Currently I’m on a flight from SFO to JFK, and I am surfing the internet using the inflight wireless service offered by Virgin America.  For $9.95, I get a credit to use the internet for the duration of the flight.

The speeds are pretty impressive given that we’re at 35,000 feet over the US.  So far I’ve been surfing the internet, had a chat client connected, and have been streaming TV from my SlingBox in San Francisco.

I think I may have just found a new favorite cross country airline!

Now to dig into my flat iron steak sandwich…
