Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Class

March 6th, 2009 · 1 Comment · International, Travel

Onboard the Airbus A340, I was pleasantly surprised by my seat.  As Philippine Airlines is reconfiguring their fleet from a three cabin to a two cabin configuration, the old configuration remains.  As such, the first class cabin remains despite being considered Mabuhay Class (Business Class).  The seat was very comfortable – the pillows big and plush.  The seat reclined to a fully flat position.  I slept like a baby for at least 8 hours of the flight, which is far more than I would ever have gotten in an economy seat.

If you can afford it, definitely go for the Mabuhay Class, and if you find yourself on one of their older configuration airplanes, request to be in the first class cabin.  You won’t regret it!
